The competition was split into four groups with some shocks in the group stages Arachne beating New Salamis 3-0 and Komi Kebir beating Tripimeni 2-1.
The top two teams from each group went into the quarter finals. Achna, Arachne, Aradippou, Apoel, Cetinkaya Cinar, Livadia, Olympia, Omonia
Last year in the late stages Semi Finals with Arachne beating Livadia 1-0 and Omonia drawing with Aradippou 1-1 with Omonia winning on penalties 1-0 it left a Arachne v Omonia Cup final both teams players were tired but they gave their all with great end to end exciting football, but with Omonia coming out cup winners 4-0.
