In the dying minutes Antonio scored straight from the corner to give thenm a vital 2-1 win.

Achna 5 Panathinaikos 4 Another exciting match between these two sides played in windy conditions at the Peter May centre.

Achna started the game strongly with the wind on their side could have gone ahead as early as the 5th minute when first a point blank save from the Panathinaikos goalie Joseph and secondly a chance missed with only the keeper to beat.

Within 10 minutes however Panathinaikos took the lead when a fine run and cross by Zac ended in the Achna net with a joint effort from Jordan and the defender.

Panathinaikos had a chance to go 2 nil ahead when the ref gave a penalty for handball. However s tame effort by Jordan was easily kept out by the keeper.

Then as fate would have it a penalty given for the same offence for Achna whose captain took. Hid effort was saved by the keeper but he smashed in the rebound 1 1.
A minute later it was 2 1 when the same player ran onto a thru ball over the top and he coolly hit the back of the net with a left foot strike.

It was 3-1 when the right back picked up the ball and was allowed to run with it from his own half and he tucked it away nicely.

2 mins into the 2nd half it was 3 2 when a fine cross by Ben was met at the far post by Anastasi.
However whilst panathinaikos were still in celebratory mood Achna scored straight from the kick off . 4 2

A free kick by Jordan made it 4 3 and when a brilliant chip by Zac equalising the scores it looked like it was going to be another famous panathinaikos comeback.4 4.

Pana had to play with 10 men when Cos the left back got injured and no substitute was available to replace him.

Still chances were coming and going but it was Achna who stole all 3 points with almost the last kick of the game . 5 4
