A man arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Enfield has been released on bail.
Police were called to Brookbank on Turkey Street, EN1 at 17:49hrs on Sunday, 7 April by the London Ambulance Service.
A 22-year-old woman was found injured in the street and was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
Next of kin are aware. Formal identification has taken place.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out later this week.
A 26-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of murder and taken to a north London police station; he was bailed to return on a date in late April.
