Bogdan Georgescu, 36 (21.06.79), of Milton Avenue, E6 was sentenced at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 19 August, where he pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was sentenced to a £250 fine, £85 costs and £200 compensation. On Tuesday, 18 August at around 10:10hrs police attended Milton Avenue to conduct enquiries at a multi-occupancy house. Milton was found to be wanted for questioning by the Home Office Immigration Enforcement crime team. He was subsequently arrested and placed in a police vehicle. Once in the rear of the vehicle he attempted to escape by breaking the window with his head. He was restrained by officers and taken to an east London police station, where he was charged with criminal damage.
