Police were called shortly after 15:00hrs on Sunday, 26 February, to a fight between two men in Kingsland Road, E8. One of the men was reportedly armed with a knife. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene. One of the men, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital suffering an injury to his head, believed to have been caused by a knife.
His injuries are described as neither life-threatening nor life-changing. Detectives from Hackney CID are investigating. A 32-year-old man was arrested near to the scene on suspicion of GBH. He has been taken into custody at an east London police station.
