Officers from the MPS Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) are appealing for the help of the public in indentifying a man they wish to speak to in connection with a high-value fraud.
On the 24 December 2014 a passport, stolen in a burglary in Barnet in 2012, was used as identification twice during the purchase of high value items at shops in the West End. The suspect went into the shops and purchased high value items using a cloned credit card and when asked for additional identification produced the stolen passport which at the time had the man’s photo in it.
Police are keen to identify the man in the photo.
We are issuing both the picture from the passport and a CCTV of the man when he attended a bank in central London.
Anyone with information should contact the Anti-terrorist hotline on 0800 789 321 call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
