Experience Cyprus like never before!
NEPOMAK has now opened applications for this summer’s flagship annual language and cultural programme – The NEPOMAK DISCOVER CYPRUS PROGRAM (NDCP), which will run from 3rd -28th July 2016 and is open to young overseas Cypriots from the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Greece and the UK.
The main aim of the NDCP is to provide young overseas Cypriots, from all around the world, the opportunity to visit their homeland, participate in a series of cultural events, an intensive language course and many other activities.
NDCP is an initiative of ΝEPOMAK, the Cyprus Youth Board and the University of Cyprus and funded by the Government of Cyprus. The programme is heavily subsidised, and participants are only expected to make a small contribution. The subsidy will cover the cost of excursions, the airfare, accommodation and course fees. All eligible candidates must be between 18 and 22 years old and be of Cypriot descent (at least one Cypriot grandparent).
NDCP offers a unique opportunity for young Cypriots to visit their homeland whilst improving their knowledge of the Greek language, Cypriot culture and heritage. It also provides a great opportunity to meet and build lifelong friendships with fellow compatriots from the Diaspora. Applications are also open for those who have been on the programme and would like to be advisors. Please email NDCP@NEPOMAK.org to register your interest.
The application deadline is 20th March 2016 (you can apply via the website www.nepomak.org/ndcpapplication)
