A woman who died after falling from a bridge onto the North Circular earlier this week was from Haringey, police have confirmed.
The 30-year-old, who has not yet been named, fell from the bridge near the Billet Road roundabout in Walthamstow just before 2.30pm on Monday. An air ambulance attended but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as severe head injuries. Officers are liaising with the woman’s family.
Enquiries are ongoing, but the incident is not being treated as suspicious
