Olympia FC are through to the LFA Sunday Challenge Cup Final
In a tough away game for Olympia playing in Dagenham versus two year’s ago winners East London team Baiteze FC in horrendous weather conditions in a game that was evenly matched.
After ninety minutes it was 0-0 with both teams finding it difficult to cope with the weather.
In extra time the game was looking eventually in going to go into penalties.
Yet late in the second period of extra time Olympia broke the deadlock with a well taken goal from Larry Agayeman and minutes later Olympia were awarded a penalty which Tony Leeds converted to give Olympia a LFA Cup final game against Mehmetcik Galata who beat Active Sports 3-2.
The manager Steve Sinotti,coach Nicky Rifat and of course the supporters will now be looking forward to the Final.
In the previous rounds Olympia defeated Hatcham FC , Brook Athletic, Loistanos, and Nea Polis.
