He’s had a year of ups and downs.
But as he prepares to welcome his first child with girlfriend Emily MacDonagh, Peter Andre has revealed that this Christmas will be their most special ever.
‘I just said to Emily that this’ll probably be the best one we’ll ever have as it’s the first time that she’ll have Christmas as a mum,’ says the singer, 40.
‘Even though the baby’s not due until next year and we don’t know what we’re having, she’s still a mother – it’s quite an amazing time!’
Pete‘s obvious joy is a far cry from how he was feeling this time last year, when he tragically lost his beloved brother Andrew, 54, to kidney cancer on 16 December.
At the time, he described the loss as ‘devastating’, but with the help of Emily – who he’s called his ‘rock’ – he emerged stronger.
