President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has expressed conviction that the bilateral relations of his country with Cyprus can be further strengthened.
In a congratulatory message he sent to President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades on the occasion of Cyprus` Independence Day, Putin noted that ” strong traditional friendship, mutual trust, cultural and moral affinity between our people are a solid foundation for advancing the relations between Russia and Cyprus”.
“I am convinced that by joining our efforts we can further strengthen fruitful bilateral cooperation in every direction”, he pointed out.
“Please accept my cordial congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Cyprus. I wish you, Mr President, health and every success, as well as prosperity to all your compatriots,” Putin concluded.
