Shots were fired in Paphos during a robbery in which the weekend takings of the Papantoniou supermarket were stolen.
Three people stopped a vehicle driven by a store employee as the money was bneing taken to the bank.
The two men who carried out the robbery wore masks, while a third waited in t he getaway car, a red Suzuki.
They were chased buy passersby and fired shots to intimidate them.
The amount stolen is not known.
