Inland maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees Celsius on Thursday, the Department of Meteorology has said in a yellow warning.
The warning is valid from 11:00 till 17:00 (local time) on Thursday.
It further adds that inland maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees Celsius and around 33 degrees over the highest mountainous areas.
