Ten flights, five departures and five arrivals, to and from the airports of Cyprus (Larnaca and Paphos) are affected by today’s three hour strike (from 10.00 am – 0800 GMT – to 13.00 by Air Traffic Controllers in Greece.
The affected flights concern the destinations of the Greek airports in Athens, Thessaloniki and Patras.
As Adamos Aspris, Spokesman of Hermes Airports, said on Monday, about 1.200 passengers will be affected from the strike. As he noted, the affected airlines have already rescheduled their flights.
“It seems that we will avoid the cancellation of flights, but we will not avoid delays of approximately one and a half hours”, Aspris said.
