A tremor measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck just after 8.30 a.m. in the area between the islands of Samothraki and Imvros in the northern Aegean, the National Observatory reported on Tuesday.
The tremor, which was minor and was also felt in Istanbul in Turkey and in Oresteiada in northern Greece, was followed by two brief aftershocks.
There were no reports of injuries or damage
