A great exciting game was played at Wingate Finchley Stadium in the lovely sunny easter weather a tremendous LFA Cup Final between Eltham Town and Tripimeni. Eltham Town scored a goal in the 30th minute to set the ball rolling and this seem to pick up Tripimeni who started going for goal and got an equaliser in the 60th minute with a goal from Sanwar Pivano. During this period Tripimeni player Tyrone Husbands had two clear chances, one two ones with the keeper of Eltham but failed to capitalise. Eltham scored with ten minutes to go with a header after that Tripimeni went full force into attack and left themselves wide open at the back and were prone to several attacks from Eltham.
The Cup was presented to The Eltham captain by the former KOPA Vice President and referee Socrates Socratous a council member of the LFA.
