† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Chrystalla Vassiliou

We wish to announce the death of our late and beloved wife, mother and
grandmother Chrystalla Vassiliou, on Friday 20 November 2023, aged 78.
Chrystalla Vassiliou was born in Leonarisso – Karpasia in 1945, of the family Mihalakis tis Kappellas) and married to Theodoros Vassiliou from Ayios Andronikos Karpasia. She settled in England with her husband in 1969, living in the Holloway area of north London up until her passing.
She leaves behind her husband, two sons, Vassos and Michael, her beloved grandchildren, Theo, Christo and Elia, as well as her daughters in law Eleni and Chrissy.
The funeral will take place on Friday 1st December at the The Greek Orthodox Church of St. Anthony and St. John the Baptist, Holloway, 1 Sussex Way, Holloway, Islington, London N7 6RT, at 11:30am and the burial at Trent Park Cemetry, Cockfosters at approximately, 1:30pm. A wake will also follow at Cockfosters Scout Hut, Chalk Lane EN4, immediately after the burial. Instead of flowers there will be a donation box dedicated to the needs of the church.

Χρυστάλλα Βασιλείου

Ανακοινώνουμε το θάνατο της αγαπημένης μας συζύγου, μητέρας και γιαγιάς Χρυστάλλας Βασιλείου, που απεβίωσε την Παρασκευή 20 Νοεμβρίου 2023, σε ηλικία 78 ετών.
Η Χρυστάλλα Βασιλείου γεννήθηκε στο Λεονάρισο Καρπασίας το 1945, (από την οικογένεια Μιχαλάκη της Καπέλλας) και παντρεύτηκε με τον Θεόδωρο Βασιλείου από τον Άγιο Ανδρόνικο Καρπασίας. Εγκαταστάθηκε στην Αγγλία με τον σύζυγό της το 1969, και ζούσαν στην περιοχή του Holloway στο βόρειο Λονδίνο μέχρι τον θάνατό της.
Εγκαταλείπει τον σύζυγό της, τους δύο γιους της, Βάσο και Μιχάλη, τα αγαπημένα της εγγόνια, Θεόδωρος, Χρίστο και Ηλία, καθώς καιτις νύφες της Ελένη και Χρυσή.
Η κηδεία της θα γίνει την Παρασκευή 1 Δεκεμβρίου από τον Ιερό Ναό Αγίων Αντωνίου και Ιωάννου του Βαπτιστού, Holloway, 1 Sussex Way, Holloway, Islington, London N7 6RT στις 11:30π.μ και η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο Trent Park, Cockfosters στις 1:30 μ.μ. Θα ακολουθήσει επίσης παρηγοριά στο
Cockfosters Scout Hut, Chalk Lane EN4, αμέσως μετά την ταφή. Αντί για λουλούδια θα μπορούν να γίνουν εισφορές για τις ανάγκες της εκκλησίας.
