† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Flora Philippou
(from Achna, Cyprus – nee Yiorkallou)
With deep sorrow we announce the death of our beloved Flora Philippou,
who passed away on 4th February 2026, at the age of 85.
She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, Philippos Philippou (from Varosi), her daughter Litsa, her son Antonaki, her son-in-law Stelios,
grandchildren Nektarios, Alexandros, Stephani, and her great-grandchild Emilia, along with many relatives and friends.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 24 February, at The Greek Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, Hornsey / Haringey, Wightman Road, London N8 0LY, at 12pm. The wake will be held at the church hall. The burial will take place in Cyprus on 3rd March 2026, at Dasaki Achnas.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made at the church for The Greek
Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist.

Με βαθιά θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο της αγαπημένης μας Φλώρας Φιλίππου, η οποία απεβίωσε στις 4 Φεβρουαρίου 2026, σε ηλικία 85 ετών.
Καταλείπει τον επί 66 χρόνια σύζυγό της Φίλιππο Φιλίππου (από το Βαρώσι), την κόρη της Λίτσα, τον γιο της Αντωνάκη, τον γαμπρό της Στέλιο,
τα εγγόνια της Νεκτάριο, Αλέξανδρο, Στέφανη και την δισεγγονή της Αιμιλία, καθώς και πολλούς συγγενείς και φίλους.
Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Τρίτη 24 Φεβρουαρίου, από τον ιερό ναό του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή, Hornsey / Haringey, Wightman Road, London N8 0LY, στις 12 μ.μ. Η παρηγοριά θα δοθεί στην αίθουσα της εκκλησίας.
Η ταφή θα γίνει στην Κύπρο στις 3 Μαρτίου 2026, στο Δασάκι Άχνας.
Αντί λουλουδιών, μπορούν να γίνουν εισφορές στην εκκλησία για τον ιερό ναό του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή.
