† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Maria Demetriou
(From Yerakies, Cyprus)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Demetriou, who passed away peacefully on 3rd April 2026, at the age of 96.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Eric and Xenia, grandchildren Alex and Sophia and her wider family and friends.
Maria is now reunited with her beloved husband Diogenis, who tragically died in 1989.
Maria will be laid to rest with him in Pomos, Cyprus where the funeral will take place on Thursday 23rd April.

Μαρία Δημητρίου

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε τον θάνατο της Μαρίας Δημητρίου, η οποία απεβίωσε ειρηνικά στις 3 Απριλίου 2026, σε ηλικία 96 ετών.
Θα τη θυμούνται με αγάπη τα παιδιά της Έρικ και Ξένια, τα εγγόνια της Άλεξ και Σοφία και η ευρύτερη οικογένεια και οι φίλοι της.
Η Μαρία έχει πλέον επανενωθεί με τον αγαπημένο της σύζυγο Διογένη, ο οποίος απεβίωσε τραγικά το 1989.
Η Μαρία θα ταφεί μαζί του στον Πωμό της Κύπρου, όπου η κηδεία θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Πέμπτη 23 Απριλίου.
