We’ve had to close off the play equipment in Lee Road Recreation Ground in Enfield (not for the first time) because of vandalism and damage by dogs.
We’ve had no other choice to close the area off to protect residents, park users and our public space.
Please do not approach anyone who is ‘training’ their dog to destroy play equipment in any of our parks. If you see this happening, call the police.
Antisocial behaviour, vandalism and abuse of animals in the borough’s parks is not acceptable, and we will take the strongest possible action against the perpetrators.
Our parks are open to everyone, for everyone.
Please respect our public spaces so they can be enjoyed safely
