The Dinner Dance Party at the Cypriot Community Centre on New Year’s Eve was a great success and enjoyed by all those present until the early hours of New Year’s Day.
The excellent music and songs by the Venus Band, i.e. George (Kokis) Gregoriou and Nikos Savvides, entertained people of all ages, all of whom joined in the dancing and singing.
The raffle prizes included a Samsung Tablet donated by Victor, the Traditional Dance Tutor at the CCC, Whole Fresh Salmons donated by Sea Fresh Fisheries, Hampers by both Chrisoulla Minti and the CCC itself and other prizes donated by the CCC including a Microwave.
The CCC wishes to thank its staff for the preparation of our renowned Kleftiko and other delights.
At midnight, Lokmathes were served and the Vasilopitta was cut, ensuring that everyone started the New Year 2018 with something sweet and traditional.
