A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenage girl was allegedly subjected to an hour-and-a-half serious sexual assault by a gang of males in Alexandra Park on Friday night.
The incident allegedly took place between 11pm on Friday, May 16, and 12.30am on Saturday, May 17.
The area around the lake was cordoned off on Saturday to allow officers from the sexual offences, exploitation and child abuse command to investigate.
Police later arrested the 14-year-old boy, taking him to a north London police station. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
