On Sunday 29th October, at Hertfordshire’s Rye House Karting Circuit, which is also Joseph’s home circuit and also the circuit which is home to Lewis Hamilton, Joseph secured first place in the prestigious 2017 London Cup Championship. This was Joseph’s 4th Championship Title of 2017 … it was also the very same day that Lewis Hamilton secured his 4th Formula One World Championship Title.. coincidences or history about to repeat itself?
It was a faultless weekend for Joseph with a complete clean sweep winning all his heats, P1 in Qualifying and winning the final race!
Earlier in the year, Joseph was also the winner of the 2017 British Open Championship
(O Plate), making him not only the only driver to ever win both championships together in the same Championship year, but also the YOUNGEST ever Championship winner.
Joseph’s first ever Championship title win came in March 2017 where he managed to secure the Buckmore Park MSA Winter Championship.
However, Joseph isn’t new to competing on wheels!! Initially starting out on just 2 wheels, and at the tender age of just 3 years old, Joseph took 3rd place in the UK Stryder British Balance Bike Championship finals that were held in Manchester in September 2013.
4 wheels is most definitely where Joseph will remain. 2018 will see his hugely anticipated move to the Cadet Class (one year ahead of schedule) in preparation for his full MSA Racing Licence.
Exciting times lie ahead.. keep up to date and follow this amazing young British talent on his planned rise to the top of British Motorsport!
