2016 saw the creation of grassroots football team Pro Soccer Youth Development, it seems the owner John Anastasiou has the golden touch as his two teams u9 and u10 who play in the Saturday rural league are both undefeated for the entire season winning their respective leagues and cups without losing a single game in the process.
During the season Pro Soccer were invited to Fulham Fc training ground at Motspur Park where their u10’s lost in the final of their elite tournament, this invitation was soon followed on by Spurs where Pro Soccer attended their Enfield Academy state of the art facilities with their under 9’s where they came away triumphant winners without losing a single game.
Their award presentation ceremony at Haringey Borough Fc saw the attendance of family friends – Luther Young father of Manchester United and England international Ashley Young accompanied by England Coach Dan Macicche and upcoming young professionals Herson Alves and Chris Paul from Brentford and QPR FC. John said “it was great to see Luther and Dan speaking with players and parents giving advice”.
Due to their incredible achievement this season owner John Anastasiou who has been raised in Islington North London has decided to expand the club in addition to challenging his youngsters in the toughest league in London playing in the Sunday Echo League.
