As part of Better’s commitments to improving the energy efficiency of the Barnet Leisure Centres, we are currently undertaking a significant energy improvement project at Finchley Lido Leisure Centre.
The project involves replacing a number of major plant elements, including boilers, air handling system, lighting and more. On Monday 28 January, Finchley Lido Leisure centre is planning to take their boilers off line while contractors complete the final stages of the boiler replacement works.
Better would like to give our customer advance notice of this as whilst we are working to maintain acceptable swimming pool temperatures, unfortunately we will not be able to provide hot water from the taps and showers from 6.30am to 5pm .
The centre will remain open as usual and in line with the advertised programme. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
