† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL
Andreas Yiannikkoul
(from Rizokarpasso, Cyprus)
It is with great sadness the family announce the death after long illness of much loved Andreas Yiannikkou, who was born and grew up in Rizokarpasso, Cyprus. He later moved to the UK as a young man and lived in North London and later Potters Bar. He was a very talented shoe maker by trade and owned a small shop in Hornsey.
He leaves behind his wife Sofia, daughter Katie, Son-in-law Vidan, grandchildren Christos, Andreas, Stella and Sophia and three sisters, Maria, Eleni and Niki.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 12th November 2024, at 10.30am at The Greek Orthodox Church of Twelve Apostles, Kentish Lane, Brookmans Park, Hatfield, AL9 6BS. The burial at New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road London N11 1JJ followed by a wake which will be held at function hall at The Walker Cricket Ground, Waterfall Road, Southgate, London N14 7JZ. Instead of flowers, there will be a donation box in aid of UK Thalassaemia Society and Parkinson’s Disease.
