A 23-year-old businessman in Paphos has €5,500 stolen from unlocked car

A 23-year-old businessman in Paphos learned a costly lesson after leaving his car unlocked with €5,500 inside.

The incident occurred on Sunday night in Paphos town centre, marking one of two significant thefts in the area that evening.

The young entrepreneur had parked his vehicle in a car park near the commercial district, leaving a substantial sum of cash inside the unlocked car.

Upon returning, he discovered the money had vanished and promptly reported the theft to local authorities.

In a separate incident around midnight, an expatriate resident reported the theft of his car, valued at €3,500.

The vehicle had been parked in a different car park, also in Paphos town centre.
