U10s
AEK played a great game against a good Whetstone Wanderers side in a well-fought and committed contest played with great sporting spirit from both sides.

AEK 0 Whetstone Wanderers 1 Really tight game in which we had chances but needed to be more clinical. Their keeper Alex Komodromos made a world class save tipping a goal bound shot over the bar and saved a penalty (twice as the ref made them take it again as he said Alex came off his line too early – rarely see that given at this level. Anyway Alex saved it again !) I think it will be like this most weeks for us as the teams in the White Division this year all look to be fairly evenly balanced.
