Another action packed Sunday for all the AEK teams with results & summary as follows-
AEK U9s – A good game where the boys played with freedom & smiles on their faces. Goalscorers – Marcus x 2, Deen and Lucca. MOM- Gabriel C: cool, calm & collected
Cup Semi Final – Alexandra Park U15s 2 vs 3 AEK Youth FC Blacks U15s
This was always going to be a very tough game for AEK against a team for the top division. Going a goal behind in the first minute did little to calm the nerves but AEK grew into the game, equalised just before halftime & never looked back storming into a 3-1 lead before AP pulled a goal back. A thoroughly well deserved victory by the boys complimented by the opposition and referee for their great attitude as well as performance- we’ll done boys!!!!
Goalsvoters- Christian- Vasileos – Jude. MOM – Tom D for his all action performance- he took the lead and the team followed.
St Albans U18s 3 v 6 AEK U18s Blacks-
AEK U18s Blacks put on a silky display against a physical St Albans side. AEK always lookingto pass and move & got their reward. The boys are now fully focused on winning the winning the top division league against many teams a year older (U17s v U18s).
Goalscorers- Mario Tx3, Antony G x3 & Kai P x1. MOM- Mario T- did not give the St Albans defenders a moments rest & scored 3 great goals
AEK Golds U18 2 vs 3 Hadley Wood & Wingate Falcons U18s-
A very tough & tetchy game with lots of emotion & decisions which went against AEK. Goalscorers Ronaldo Bajraktari, Adam Cross
