AKEL denounces the use of police violence by the Spanish authorities against citizens in Catalonia, which has resulted in hundreds of injured people. The state violence exerted by the Right-wing government of Rajoy unfortunately refers to times that the Spanish people as a whole certainly do not want to relive.
As AKEL, we believe that the handling of such issues, which are internal matters, must be done in a political way, within the framework of a democratic dialogue and with full respect for the human and democratic rights of citizens.
