Police investigating a road traffic collision in Barnet are appealing for help to trace a vehicle which allegedly failed to stop at the scene.
Shortly after 7.30pm on December 16, a 49-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Dancers Hill Road, suffering injuries to his head, neck and hip.
The vehicle was not at the scene when police arrived.
PC Matt Jacob from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit said: “We urgently need to trace the driver of the vehicle which is described as a large, dark Vauxhall Vivaro-style van.
“If you witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it, please get in contact. If anyone has any information about what happened, or the vehicle involved, we want to hear from you.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the BCH Road Policing Unit on the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 76 of December 16.
