An argument at a Larnaca car park spiralled out of control on Saturday afternoon after it quickly turned in a brawl leaving two men in hospital and several vehicles damaged.
According to police, three men – aged 34, 35 and 37 – had got into a heated row in the parking lot of a cafe on the Larnaca beach front. The row quickly escalated into a brawl as fists and kicks began flying. At one point, one of the men tried to escape to his car but not before the two others had managed to kick out his two side-mirrors.
In his desperate attempt to escape, the man in the car grazed and knocked into several cars and motorbikes that were also parked nearby.
The two men were kept overnight at Larnaca General Hospital for injuries and bruising to their bodies and face while the third man was later traced back to his home.
All three men will be questioned at Larnaca Police Station on Sunday.
