On Wednesday, Neos Kosmos knew of at least 80 Greeks from the community of Melbourne who had funerals as a result of coronavirus-related deaths from information gathered by offices offering funeral services.
Bearing in mind the deaths of Greek Australians that we know of, it is evident that the Greek community has been particularly hard-hit during the pandemic which has claimed a total of 363 lives in the state of Victoria.
The national death toll is at 450.
