Police in Larnaca are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose naked body was found at sea on Sunday night.
Investigators have yet to name the victim instead confirming that he is a “34-year-old Greek Cypriot from Mazotos”. The man was discovered floating in the water by swimmers at around 8pm close to the Larnaca fishing harbour. Police soon retrieved the body where efforts were made to resuscitate the 34-year-old but to no avail.
An autopsy is set to take place on the victim on Monday at the Larnaca General Hospital to determine the exact cause of death
