A 39-year-old British woman, who was being treated in the General Hospital in Nicosia after a serious thrombotic episode, has passed away.
Asked by CNA if her death is linked to the vaccine, Charalambos Charilaou, spokesman of the State Health Services Organization (OKYpY), said that this will be investigated by the European Medicines Agency.
The woman was vaccinated on May 6 in Pafos with the AstraZeneca vaccine.
