Over the Christmas and New Year period, waste and recycling collection dates will change for some residents.
The revised collection dates are shown below and are available to view online here: https://www.broxbourne.gov.uk/resident-recycling-and-waste/collection-dates-and-recycling-centres.
It’s important to note that the collection dates have been updated since the annual calendar was issued.
There will be no green waste collections between Monday 24 December 2018 and Friday 4 January 2019. They will resume on Monday 7 January 2019.
People tend to accumulate more waste over the festive period so residents should make good use of the food waste collections and kerbside recycling service. They should NOT put Christmas cards and wrapping paper with glitter, foil or flock embellishments in with their recycling – this will need to go in the black wheeled bin with non-recyclable waste.
Further information about recycling and refuse collections over Christmas and New Year is available on the Council’s website at www.broxbourne.gov.uk .
