Chocolate Moments produce luxury artisan chocolates, inspired by the unique flavours of Cyprus. The company launched last year at the Cypriot Wine Festival where their signature tahini brownies went down a treat, and they have since been shortlisted for 2 categories in the FreeFrom Awards: ‘Teatime’ and ‘Best product from a start up’.
Company founder Maria Antoniou told Parikiaki: “We are very proud of this and hope it will bring much needed attention to Cypriot flavours. We believe chocolate should be of the highest quality, it should be savoured and enhanced not with colourings and flavours but with unusual ganaches and crunchy ingredients to add texture. Wish us luck!!”
Chocolate Moments recently won the Small Business Sunday award founded by fellow Cypriot Theo Paphitis.
The FreeFrom Food Awards, now in their 12th successful year, are the industry’s only award for ‘freefrom food’ – gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, soya-free etc.
The winners of the 2019 FreeFrom Food Awards will be announced and presented with their certificates at an invitation-only party in central London on March 20th.
