Team Evangelou would like to thank all the readers of Parikiaki for their wonderful support of Cypriot boxers Andreas ‘The Ace’ and Christopher ‘The Flash’ Evangelou. Both boxers were scheduled to box their first fights of the year at York Hall on Saturday 22nd February but due to medical reasons a disappointed Andreas had to reluctantly heed to the instruction of his trainers and pull out of his fight.
Christopher however took full advantage of the opportunity given to him, to get back to winning ways with an impressive performance over Dan Carr. Cheered on by the large army of faithful fans of the boys, Christopher controlled the fight from start to finish and looked back to his best winning with a unanimous points decision.
Both Christopher and Andreas, are now preparing and working hard to move on to greater things and in the year ahead, put themselves in for title shots.
