On Thursday 7th April 2016, MPS GCA Member Nick Harpas was commended for his outstanding efforts in his full time role as a PC. This was presented by Area Commander Christine Jones at a ceremony at New Scotland Yard.
Nick was commended for professionalism and dedication to duty whilst deployed as part of the Omega North Task Force targeting criminal networks responsible for a linked series of cross border robberies and moped enabled theft snatches in Islington and Camden Borough.
Nick first met us in 2013 at the Cypriot Wine Festival & Business Expo where we signed up the young Londoner of Cypriot origin. He joined the MPS on 28.04.14 and was based in Brent Borough. We are extremely proud of his achievements at such an early stage in his career, many congratulations to him.
