The Cypriot Bowls Association played their first friendly match at Arnos Grove last Saturday where they won two of the three rinks of trebles but lost the overall score 53-51. It was a very exciting and enjoyable start for the Association that was only formed a couple of weeks ago.
The very friendly members of Arnos provided cakes and biscuits for tea at the end of the match and promised a BBQ on our next meeting which of course was well received by the Cypriot association.
Most clubs will have had their fixtures allocated but the Cypriot Bowls Association will endeavour to get a few more games this first season and of course new members are welcome. Please call jack on 0208 882 1158 or Mikkos on 07989 654 304.
