A Doctor is currently hospitalised at Limassol General Hospital after being badly beaten.
The incident occurred yesterday around 2pm, at a central square at the Ayios Athanasios municipality.
According to the police, the doctor was approached by two unidentified men on a bike whilst he was walking towards his car parked near the square.
The victim, who was unaware of the men’s intention, was then beaten up with a bat on different parts of his body by one of the men wearing a crash helmet.
