The situation as regards the first two places of the Cyprus League by Stoiximan remains unchanged after the completion of the Match Day 20.
Paphos and Aris achieved victories over Karmiotissa and Ethnikos Achnas, respectively, while the 3rd in the standings, AEK, lost ground after their draw with Anorthosis.
Pafos beat in form Karmiotissa with two late goals coming from Jaja and Anderson.
Aris got a early shock when they went 1-0 down to Ethnikos Achna within three minutes to a Anderggen goal and it took to the the 26th minute for Aris to equalise through Gaustad and then went onto score five more goals through Struski, Gomis, Bengtsson. Montnor and Kvilitaia to win 6-1.
AEK remain 8 points behind Paphos and 6 points behind Aris, while Omonia, which won away against Paralimni 2-0 their goals coming from Coulibaly and Simic, reduced the difference from AEK to two points.
At the same time, APOEL defeated Omonia Aradippou with 7-0 and is now 4 points behind Omonia and 14 from the first place.Apoel’s goals came from seven different players the first one an own goal 17th minute followed by Maioli, Susic, Drazic, Donis, Pizzi and Galanopoulos.
After their defeat by Omonoia 29M and Anorthosis drawing with AEK, Apollon are now tied in 6th place with 31 points.
Bottom of the table Omonia 29s shook Apollon by beating them 2-1 a great fightback from them after going 1-0 down to a Apollon goal from Boli.
One goal just before half time from Trujic and an added time gaol from Enem gave the Omonia 29s a 2-1 win.
The other Limassol team AEL drew 0-0 with the Nea Salamina 0-0.
AEK Larnaca will be disappointed after leading 2-0 at half time with goals from Cantalapietra and Cabrera they lost to two penalties both taken by Iliev in 58th minute and late on in the 10th minute of added time.
