The Cypriot Golf Society held the Challenge Shield on the 11th May 17 at Brookmans Park Golf Club.
Forecast for the day was rain but instead it turned out to be perfect conditions for golf. Our winner was previous long serving secretary Peter Sandamas, who held off a strong field playing off 11 handicap with a fantastic score of 37 points.
After the golf there was a Carvery Dinner which was enjoyed by all, followed by the prize presentation.
The Captain Michael Fallekos would like to thank Michael Matthew of Mona Lisa London Ltd for sponsoring the event. The captain’s chosen charity for this year is Macmillan cancer Support and Dementia Research
As always we would all like to wish him the best of luck for his year as captain.
