The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning over possible thunderstorm which could hit Cyprus.
The warning entered into effect from 06:00 local time today and expires on 18:00.
“Local heavy thunderstorms are likely to affect the area,” the warning said, adding that precipitation rate may exceed 34 millimeters per hour.
