The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Ukraine continues its operation for the time being, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Theodoros Gotsis, told CNA, noting that they are monitoring developments.
Asked by CNA about the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Kiev, following reports that some embassies remained closed on Wednesday for security reasons, and whether they were considering temporarily closing the Embassy due to the developments, Gotsis said that the Embassy is continuing its operation for the time being with the minimum necessary personnel.
“We are monitoring developments in coordination with the EU Delegation and the other missions of the Member States in Kiev”, he said.
