The big derby of the weekend of the 19th game of the Cyprus League By Stoiximan between Omonia and Ari in Nicosia ended without a winner and without goals, while the league favourites Paphos progressed with a 2-0 victory over Enosis Neon Paralimni and thus moved to the top of the standings.
Ethnikos Achnas and AEL played out a goalless draw.
Apollon Limassol defeated Karmiotissa Polemidion, at the Alfamega stadium, 3-0,with their goals coming from Sagalin the 25th minute and Dorregaray in the 80th minute and an own goal in the 88th minute. while Anorthosis beat Nea Salamina 4-0 at the Famagusta stadium in the Famagusta derby. The Anorthosis goals coming from Lopes 2, Mugabi and Paroutis.
AEK Larnaca had a big win defeating Apoel 2-1 at their home ground in Larnaca.
AEK started off well and hit the bar in the 28th minute with a shot from Cabrera, who also finally opened the scoring for the hosts in the 45th minute, beating Belets to close out the first half.
In the second half, the Larnaca team doubled their goals in the 50th minute with a placekick from Chacon. In the 60th minute, AEK scored a third goal with Aitor, but the goal was disallowed because the player was in an offside position.
APOEL reduced the score in the 75th minute with a Piero Sotiriou goal. The goal was initially disallowed for offside, but was upheld by VAR.
In the final game of the weekend Omonia Aradippou beat Omonia 29s 1-0. The first half ended goalless. In the 63rd minute,Omonia Aradippou scored the only goal of the game through an own goal.
