A 56-year-old priest, father of ten children died in hospital Tuesday morning after an accident in Lythrodontas on Monday evening.
He was crushed beneath a two-ton tank of rosewater and was taken to Nicosia General Hospital.
The accident happened around 9.20pm in a rosewater workshop when the tank, which was being moved onto a base, slipped and fell onto the priest.
The cleric, incumbent at Ayia Varvara, will be buried onThursday.
