Detectives investigating the death of Milton Papadopoulos from Potters Bar are releasing details of a watch that appears to be missing from the house where his body was found.
Milton was found at his home address in Parkfield View on October 22, 2014, and his death prompted an investigation by detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit called Operation Pinene.
Since the start of the investigation a number of lines of inquiry have been pursued and several people were arrested, and one charged, in connection with the incident:
- 42 year old Arkadiusz Szarkowski of Abbs Cross Gardens in Hornchurch, was charged with joint enterprise murder on March 12. He was remanded in custody and is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on September 2.
- A 41 year old man from Romford is due to answer police bail today (March 27).
- A 36 year old man from Harold Hill is due to answer police bail on April 21.
As part of continuing inquiries into Milton’s death, detectives would like to locate a watch that it is believed to have been in the house in Parkfield View but is currently unaccounted for.
The white gold Rolex Submariner (pictured), which has a blue face, belonged to Milton. Its serial number is V428230.
Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Walker, who is leading the investigation, said: “At this stage it is not clear why or how the watch was removed from the address but we would like to establish what has happened to it as this could potentially provide further clues to help us understand what happened to Milton.
“By releasing the details of the missing watch we hope that anyone who comes across it will recognise it and be able to contact us about it. Anyone with information about the watch or anything else in relation to Milton’s death should contact my team via 01707 355 666.”
