DISY and ultra-right ELAM honoured the coupists again this year

For the umpteenth year, the Party that housed many of the 15 July 1974 coupists, DISY, honored the coupists who were killed in their attempt to overthrow President Makarios.
More specifically, a requiem religious ceremony was held at the graves of the Commandos and National guardsmen who were “carrying out their orders on duty” in the attack on the Presidential Palace on the day of the coup, followed by the laying of wreaths in the presence of leading party officials from DISY and far-right ELAM.
For yet another year, there was an attempt to falsify history, in an attempt to present the coupists as simple beings who did not know what they were doing but were supposedly just following orders.
