Detectives appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in the Stamford Hill area have named the deceased as 29-year-old Stephanie Turner (15.07.85) of Michley Road, N17.
Police were called to Amhurst Park near the junction with Seven Sisters Road, N16 following reports of a traffic collision.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found Stephanie suffering from critical injuries following a collision with a lorry.
She died at the scene a short while later. Next of kin have been informed.
The 47-year-old driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed to return in early April to a north London police Station, pending further enquiries.
A post-mortem examination was held at Hackney Mortuary on Wednesday, 21 January. The cause of death was given as multiple injuries.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
